Greg Weaver Joins Fat Spaniel Technologies as Vice President of Sales & Service

 

Sales Veteran to Expand Global Market Footprint for Energy Information Services Leader

San Jose, Calif. – October 9, 2007 – Fat Spaniel Technologies, Inc., the market leader in providing monitoring and reporting services for distributed renewable energy systems, today announced that the company has appointed Greg Weaver as vice president of sales and service. Weaver has nearly 30 years of information systems sales experience including senior management positions at Salesforce.com, Aspect Communications and Sybase Inc. At Fat Spaniel, Weaver will focus on accelerating global sales of the company’s information services for renewable energy system maintenance, web-based marketing and educational views, and revenue-grade reporting and billing.

Prior to joining Fat Spaniel, Weaver served as vice president of sales for service and support applications at Salesforce.com where he launched a new product initiative that achieved 127 percent of target revenues in his first year. Weaver also held vice president of sales positions at Aspect Communications and Sybase Incorporated, where he consistently increased revenue, attracted and retained top talent, and successfully introduced new IT products focused on meeting critical business needs. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from California State University, San Luis Obispo as well as an MBA with a minor in Information Systems from National University in San Diego, California.

Weaver joins Fat Spaniel following the recent launch of the company’s Insight Manager™ service, a web-based management portal designed to help renewable energy system installers, integrators and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) service providers effectively manage multiple customer sites.
