Account Executive - Europe

Job Summary
This high profile position will report directly to the Managing Director-Europe of the company. The Account Executive will lead sales activities, building and managing the channel of partners, consisting of renewable energy system integrators, O&M providers and OEMs (manufacturers). This position will be responsible for sales in the solar market (primarily grid-tied PV systems) by developing and enhancing sales strategies and programs to drive future revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Setting direction for and directly addressing the growth of the data needs of the corporation as described by the following items:

  • Develop and execute sales strategy which encompasses expanding existing business partnerships, developing new relationships and entering new markets
  • Identify and secure sales opportunities for service provider delivering monitoring and reporting service for renewable energy systems, including solar electric
  • Develop strategies to penetrate commercial clients and manage a network of integrators, O&M providers and OEMs to achieve sales targets within the channel.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas and objectives; prepare monthly and quarterly forecast reports for management review
  • Understand and report on client market conditions to management
  • Develop relationships with partners, end-users, government agencies, advocacy groups, and other solar and energy industry affiliates
  • Work with US-based Marketing team to initiate and support channel marketing activities
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the sales and marketing strategy
  • Facilitate information and training events. Travel to client meetings, trade shows and marketing events is required
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years sales experience selling technical software or IT service solutions
  • Minimum 2 years experience in selling energy related/renewable energy products
  • Relationship management and project management experience required
  • Bachelor of Science, preferred Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar technical education
  • Minimum 1 year experience using SalesForce.com application
  • Proven track record of individual sales and sales team leadership
  • Articulate with strong writing and presentation skills
  • Must have complete sales cycle experience including identifying/qualifying prospects, understanding stakeholder needs, translating needs into actionable
  • customer solutions, assessing decision maker readiness, developing closing strategy, and accurate customer forecast vs. budget
  • Must have experience structuring and negotiating contract deals. Ability to work independently in a high-growth environment that requires creativity and capacity to improvise
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • Must speak fluent English and German, at a minimum, and preferably one other European language such as Spanish, Italian or French

 

Account Executive - US

Job Summary
This high profile position will report directly to the VP of Sales of the company. The Account Executive located in San Jose, CA will lead sales activities, building and managing Commercial client base. This position will be responsible for direct sales in the solar market by developing and enhancing sales strategies and programs to drive future revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Channel Sales Manager

Job Summary
Primary responsibility will be to recruit and manage OEM partners. The individual will be responsible for a small set of strategic partners with the objective of closing OEM agreements with each.

Key Responsibilities
Activities will include sales calls, proposals, contract negotiation, and on-going relationship management. Primary metrics will be dollar volume.

Job Requirements
  • Demonstrated success in problem resolution, project management, and influencing change both internally and with partners is a must
  • Minimum experience of 5 years in related role and a Bachelor’s degree
  • Renewable energy background a plus

 

SR Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary
Experienced Web Services (SOAP/REST) tester with performance testing background to participate in and provide technical leadership for the software quality assurance testing of our high availability, renewable energy monitoring platform. Design, implement, document, and maintain test software and test automation programs.  Evaluate, implement or create software tools used to perform software quality assurance, including performance testing, build verification and regression tests.  Drive processes to reduce test script maintenance and improve and simplify quality assurance processes.  Write test plans that define strategies for testing complex software systems.  Design and automate test cases to validate complex software systems, including white and black box tests, and develop supporting test tools. Participate in the full development lifecycle.  Conduct regular regression tests on a periodic basis to ensure performance levels of production systems. Work closely with software engineers on technical issues related to the development of complex, large-scale systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with QA, Project Managers, IT, and Development Teams
  • Follow project milestones and be responsible on creating test cases and defining test plans from acceptance through functional, regression and performance testing for Web Services/APIs  (SOAP/REST)
  • Develop and automate Web Services API testing using open source frameworks such as JMeter and SoapUI.
  • Create and execute complex database queries to validate database performance and integrity.
  • Support and maintain existing production Web Services, providing support for performance issues and launches of enhancements
  • Contribute to development of Full Performance Test Infrastructure, planning, tools and environments.
  • Effectively communicate test results to all teams and management.

Job Requirements
  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent
  • 5-7 years software quality assurance engineering experience in an enterprise environment with Service Oriented Architecture
  • 2+ years testing and automation of Web Services (SOAP)
  • 3+ years experience with automated test and performance tools; SoapUI, JMeter, LoadRunner, WinRunner  (SOAPUI-Groovy Scripting experience a plus)
  • 2+ years with the design, development and testing of complex SQL and data retrieval.
  • 2+ years Perl, and Shell Scripting with Hands-on experience in back-end testing of Linux/Unix based applications and systemsv
  • Customer-focused, ability to triage issues, react well to changes, work with teams and ability to multi-task on multiple products and projects

Electrical Engineering Internship

Job Summary
The intern will learn about our products, order processing, database setup, and production processes.  Working closely with our experienced staff will provide a fertile learning environment for a dedicated student looking to match his educational background with practical application.  This will be a part time position at least through the school year, with the potential to be fulltime during the summer months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing orders in our manufacturing department and setting up new systems in our product database.
  • Assist with processing of FST products,including power metering, inverter monitoring, and environmental equipment.
  • Master programming of components, including a/d converters and communication gateways.
  • Interfacing with 3rd party assembly and test contractor for execution of assemblies

Job Requirements
  • Good understanding of AC and DC power
  • Ability to read simple schematics
  • Good knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Strong ability to understand process and follow written instructions
  • Ability to document work steps
  • Natural inclination to maintain workspace cleanliness
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Student Preferred
