PV2Web is an advanced solar monitoring solution that offers solar energy users the ability to manage and control their energy data through easy to understand displays via the Internet. The real-time, historical displays will allow the water district to view its energy usage and environmental benefits to make efficient energy decisions and ensure the system is running at peak levels.

The 200 kW solar energy system includes photovoltaic solar modules on the roof of the existing administrative building and on two new carports at the headquarters campus. The project will deliver 333,000 kW hours of electric energy annually, which is equivalent to the electric needs of 80 average families a year, and will save the community as much as $70,000 in energy costs per year.

In addition, the Fat Spaniel Technologies' solar monitoring kiosks and Web site will provide district environmental and energy data as an educational tool for the public.
