Fat Spaniel Technologies Adds New VP of Operations

 

Hewlett Packard, Sun Microsystems Veteran to Manage Worldwide Expansion for Renewable Energy Monitoring Provider

San Jose, Calif. – June 5, 2008 –Fat Spaniel Technologies, Inc., the market leader in monitoring and reporting services for distributed renewable energy systems, today announced that cleantech market veteran Ron Lloyd has joined the executive team as vice president of operations. Lloyd has more than 20 years of experience in high technology process management including leadership roles at Hewlett Packard, Sun Microsystems and Tesla Motors, Inc. At Fat Spaniel Technologies, Lloyd will guide the operational ramp-up of the company’s independent monitoring services for renewable energy OEMs, integrators and PPA service providers worldwide.

Before joining the team at Fat Spaniel Technologies, Lloyd served as vice president of the White Star Program for Tesla Motors, Inc., where he established and developed the overall manufacturing program plan and business model in Detroit. Over the fourteen years prior, Lloyd served as vice president of Sun Microsystems, where he led new products and engineering as well as worldwide manufacturing operations. Previously, Lloyd managed capacity expansions for Hewlett Packard. Lloyd currently serves on the board for Grid Alternatives, a non-profit that provides solar electric solutions for low-income Californian homeowners.
