CPUC Reaffirms Fat Spaniel Status
Dear Fat Spaniel Partners and Customers,
This fall, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) requested performance data from Fat Spaniel Technologies on solar systems that were subsidized by incentives from the State of California-authorized rebate programs, including the California Solar Initiative (CSI), the Self Generation Incentive Program (SGIP), the Emerging Renewables Program (ERP), and the Rebuild a Greener San Diego Solar Program.
We would like to inform you that Fat Spaniel has assisted the CPUC in collecting performance data from solar systems that were subsidized under the programs listed above. As a champion for the solar industry, we provided data for those sites with an expedited turn-around time and in full compliance with the data delivery aspects of the company’s agreement with the regulatory agencies overseeing the CSI.
The aggregated, anonymous data will help to quantify the results of the CSI program. The CPUC will submit this performance data to the California State Legislature as a basis for informing future policy.
As the leading Performance Monitoring and Reporting Service (PMRS) provider in California, we are delighted to contribute to this program, which is designed to minimize the CSI program costs and accurately inform future policy. We are also pleased to inform you that the CPUC has confirmed, in writing, that Fat Spaniel is in full compliance with the CSI Handbook and therefore remains listed as an approved PMRS provider on the Go Solar California website: http://www.gosolarcalifornia.org/equipment/monitors+rsp.html
If you have any questions or would like more information, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Kind regards,
Tom Tansy
