Achievements include delivery of real-time e-commerce transaction engine; hosted web applications; shrink-wrapped, OEM and bundled applications. Prior to founding Fat Spaniel Technologies, Inc., Mr. Beekhuis held the positions of VP Renewable Energy Systems Division at Salas O'Brien Engineers, Inc, VP Engineering at eFinance Corporation, Inc and management and development positions with Digital Market, Inc., Silicon Graphics, AddStor Incorporated, and DynaMedix Corporation.

Richard Eckman
Director of Operations
Richard brings over 20 years of experience in product engineering and technical management. Mr. Eckman has taken products from concept to production for the industrial market and has managed departmental and cross-functional teams. His background includes leading product development, design for manufacturability and safety compliance, risk analysis, and failure mode analysis. He has worked in the semiconductor industry at Teradyne, electronics test at Photon Dynamics, and defense electronics at Teledyne CME.
Mr. Eckman holds an MS in Engineering Management, Santa Clara University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, University of Illinois, 1984.
Jeff Ehlers
Creative Director
Over 24 years of experience within the graphical and information design industry including over six years of information design with a Fortune 100 company designing enterprise business-to-business, educational, and training web sites. He has also developed software user interfaces and icon libraries for over 36 enterprise programs. Mr. Ehlers has held senior graphical and informational design positions at Extreme Networks, Cisco Systems, Inc and Everex Computer Systems plus operated as a freelance Art Director for several years.

Achievements include successful delivery of an agile enterprise-class SOA infrastructure for use in the highly-audited mortgage B2B market, a carrier-class unified messaging solution for the telecommunications market, and numerous hosted business process automation web-applications. Prior to joining Fat Spaniel Technologies, Mr. Francis held the position of Chief Architect - SVP, Service Development at the Merrill Lynch subsidiary, First Franklin Financial, Corp.
David Kopans, CPA, CMA
Director of Regulatory Affairs
More than a decade as a senior executive and advisor to publicly traded, startup, and early-stage companies. David has helped launch hardware, software, nanotechnology, and biotechnology companies. He has served as CFO / Head of Finance of two publicly traded companies and has overseen the issuance of more than $40 million in Common Stock, Preferred Stock, and Convertible Secured Debentures. David started his career auditing publicly traded companies at what is now PricewaterhouseCoopers. David is also an inventor of two technology patents, a finalist in MIT's Technology Review Magazine’s TR100 competition, and a Finance Committee Member of the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association.

Nancy McKereghan
Director of Program Management
Over 20 years experience managing teams in Marketing, Operations and Engineering for start-up and Fortune 500 firms. Prior to joining Fat Spaniel Technologies, McKereghan served as Operations Manager for Azad Technology Development, a firm specializing in object-oriented software solutions for semiconductor process equipment. While at Teradyne and KLA Instruments, she managed teams with strategic partners such as Motorola, IBM and Tokyo Electron. McKereghan holds a PMP® certification from the Project Management Institute. |
